Road Trip...

My cousin, Jay, got married this past weekend in Athens so Chris and I packed up the contents of our house and Sam and hit the road. We split up the trip on the way down, spending the night at Andy and Janet's house in Charlotte. We've always done this instead of driving 7 hours to ATL after we get off work on Friday. Little different with a baby. Somehow we still ended up 6 hours in the car on Saturday from Charlotte to Athens, even though google said it would only take 3 hours and 19 minutes. Oh well, the wedding was worth it, so much fun!

On the way back there was no splitting the trip so we decided to check out Greenville, SC to see what the fuss was all about. My sister and her family showed up late for the wedding festivities b/c Greenville's downtown had so much to offer. We had to check it out. This pic is pre-walk, somehow we lost Atreides leash so he uses a rope now, yes we are ghetto and proud of it. Sam is in her joggy stroller, which thankfully she is in love with, for now.

We took Samantha to the Mellow Mushroom, man that place always delivers. Sam chewed on some lemons and some spoons for her meal. After that we took a walk around Falls Park. I've posted pics on facebook if you want to check them out. That place is awesome, so unexpected in a downtown area. Good weekend overall but I think our days of Sam enjoying car rides, uncomfortably strapped in a car seat, are numbered.
